Gentilhomme
A native macOS viewer for man pages, rendered as rich, readable, linked documents.
macOS 26+

Features
- Every page on your manpath, resolved through your login shell, so Homebrew and personal directories are included.
- Filter as you type, ranked by relevance: searching “ls” puts
lsfirst. The index updates in place after abrew install. - Every cross-reference is a link, SEE ALSO included; Back and Forward work like a browser. References the author didn't mark up become links too when the page exists.
- Windows and tabs: several man pages side by side, each tab with its own page, filter and history.
- Sections menu to jump straight to NAME, SYNOPSIS or EXAMPLES; find in page; text size remembered across launches.
- Print and export as paginated PDF, single-page PDF, self-contained HTML, RTF or plain text.
- 21 built-in TextMate colour schemes for the reading pane, plus your own
.tmThemefiles, with separate light and dark choices. - Handles
x-man-page://links, so ⌘-clicking a command name in Terminal can open Gentilhomme instead of Terminal's own viewer.
Requirements
macOS 26 or later. Rendering uses the system's bundled mandoc; nothing to install.
